One person died and a second person was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 early Saturday morning.
The 12:18 a.m. crash happed in the north-bound lanes near mile marker 155 -- south of the US 76 interchange and north of the Honda Way interchange, said Cpl. Sonny Collins, South Carolina Highway Patrol.
A north-bound 2014 KIA ran off the right side of the interstate and into a tree, Collins said. The passenger in the car died, the driver was transported to a Florence area hospital for treatment of their injuries.
