Louisville, KY: One person injured in school bus and another vehicle crash on Wednesday 5 October 2016

An accident involving a school bus and another vehicle sent one person to a local hospital.It happened shortly after 7 a.m. in the 5200 block of New Cut Road, near Orchard Hill.

Fifty students from Lassiter Middle School were aboard the bus, but the only person injured was the woman driving the small SUV that the bus pulled out in front of, a JCPS spokeswoman said.

That driver was taken to a hospital for treatment, but an officer told WAVE 3 News' Sharon Yoo that she was alert.
