Hutchinson, KS : Three taken to hospital after Finney County collision on April, Monday 10th 2017

Three people were taken to a hospital after a car crash Monday afternoon in Finney County.

According to a Kansas Highway Patrol crash log, Juana Fuentes, 60, of Garden City, failed to yield the right of way while crossing K-156 on Jenny Barker Road, a mile east of U.S. 50 in Finney County.

The passenger car Fuentes was driving struck a sport utility vehicle traveling westbound on K-156, which was driven by Arik A. Varela, 25, of Garden City.

Fuentes and her passenger, Dalila Nava, 58, and Varela’s passenger, Sarahi Garcia, 25, all of Garden City, were taken to St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City with possible injuries. Varela was uninjured.
