Richmond, VA : Woman, 32, dies in head-on crash with truck on Hull Street Road in Chesterfield on Friday morning, March 17, 2017

A Richmond woman died Friday morning after her Ford Focus sedan crashed head-on into a pickup truck on Hull Street Road in Chesterfield County, according to police.

Barlette W. Bradby, 32, was taken to Chippenham Hospital with life-threatening injuries and died later in the day, Chesterfield police spokeswoman Elizabeth Caroon said.

The driver of the GMC Sierra pickup truck also was taken to Chippenham Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, Caroon said.

Bradby was heading east on Hull Street Road about 9:30 a.m. when she crossed into the westbound travel lanes and hit the pickup truck, which was waiting to make a left turn onto Chippenham Parkway, police said.

Police are still investigating the crash.
