A Whiting man has pleaded not guilty to charges he struck and killed a bicyclist in Weybridge.

Twenty-seven-year-old Nathan Dearing is charged with driving under the influence with death resulting and while his license was suspended.

Police say 55-year-old Kelly Boe of Middlebury was struck and killed on Hamilton Road in Weybridge at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Authorities say preliminary test results put Dearing's blood alcohol content at .11 percent. Any reading of .08 is evidence of driving under the influence.

Dearing is being held on $75,000 bail.

The crash is still under investigation.
