FLINT, MI : Woman killed two others critical after crash in Flint on Saturday, 4th May 2024

A 44-year-old woman died and two other women were listed in critical condition after a crash on Flint's south side Saturday afternoon.

The Flint Police Department says Jaquaya Denise Buford was driving a GMC Terrain west on Atherton Road around 2:30 p.m. when a GMC Acadia driving north on Grand Traverse Street slammed into her driver's side.

Buford was pronounced dead on the scene. Ambulances rushed a 20-year-old woman and 39-year-old woman to Hurley Medical Center, where both were listed in critical condition Monday.

Investigators believe the woman driving the Acadia may have been speeding and intoxicated
