Columbus, OH : Women dies after SUV crashes into public transit bus in Columbus on Friday, March 18, 2016

Ohio authorities say a woman has died after her SUV crashed into a Central Ohio Transit Authority bus in Columbus that was stopped at a curb to pick up and drop off passengers.

Columbus police say they are investigating what caused the woman's sport utility vehicle to run into the bus about 7 p.m. Friday.

Police say 42-year-old Tracy Marie Hinkle was taken to a hospital where she later died.

According to police, the bus driver, 47-year-old David E. Wass, and the passengers were not seriously injured. Two pedestrians suffered minor injuries from flying debris from the crash.
