MUSCLE SHOALS, AL : Man killed following Friday morning wreck in Muscle Shoals on Friday, 31st May 2024

A man has died following a two-vehicle wreck Friday morning in Muscle Shoals.

According to the Muscle Shoals Police Department, the incident happened around 5:50 a.m. at Woodward Avenue and Richton Avenue.

Police said a Ford Ranger truck was traveling north on Woodward Avenue when another vehicle driven by 36-year-old Jesus Garcia-Moreno came off of Richton Avenue and failed to yield the right of way, colliding with the truck.

Colbert County Coroner Matt Moore said Garcia-Moreno was pronounced dead at the scene.
