WESTVILLE, FL : Man killed in wreck on State 2 on April, Thursday 6th 2017

A Westville man died Wednesday evening after he drove onto the shoulder of a rural road and then overcorrected and veered into the tree line.

Donald McLean, 52, was driving west on State 2 about 7 p.m. when the accident occurred, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

After his 2014 Nissan Versa went onto the shoulder, he swerved to the left and his vehicle crossed both lanes of the highway onto the other grassy shoulder. The car then hit a tree and spun around into several other trees, FHP reported.
