Wheatland, WY : Gregory Taylor, 46, died in a crash on Wyoming State Highway 311, west of Wheatland on Sunday, May 15, 2016

Gregory Taylor, 46, died in a crash that occurred at 3 a.m. on the 15th near mile post two on Wyoming State Highway 311 about four miles west of Wheatland, Sgt. David Wagener said in a press release.

Taylor was driving a 2002 Ford F-250 pickup truck traveling north on WY 311 when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve in the highway. The Ford left the road to the east where it tripped and rolled. Taylor was wearing his seat belt, but still suffered fatal injuries on scene.

Alcohol use and driver fatigue are being investigated as contributing factors in this crash that marked the 16th highway fatality in Wyoming for 2016. There were 46 highway fatalities in Wyoming during this same time period in 2015.
