Benson , AZ : Carl Helmhout, 60 died in a single-vehicle wreck on Interstate 10 near the Texas Canyon area on Monday morning, April 11, 2016

Authorities identified the man who died Monday morning in a single-vehicle wreck as Tucson resident Carl Helmhout, 60.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety said Helmhout was driving east on Interstate 10 near the Texas Canyon area east of Benson when he lost control of his vehicle. His Toyota passenger vehicle struck a boulder in the median area and rolled over. Helmhout died at the scene of the wreck.
