Lake Havasu City, AZ : Thomas West, 56, killed in motorcycle accident near Hagen Way and Mangrum Drive on Tuesday night, January 24, 2017

Lake Havasu City Police have released more details on a deadly motorcycle crash that occurred late Tuesday night.

According to a press release, Thomas West, 56, of Lake Havasu City died when he lost control of a 2015 Yamaha motorcycle and was ejected near Hagen Way and Mangrum Drive.

Police said West sustained fatal head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. West was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Police are continuing their investigation into what may have caused West to crash.
