CENTRAL, LA : Two hurt in head-on crash in Central on Wednesday, 8th November 2023

The Central Police Department is investigating a crash that happened near Greenwell Springs Road Wednesday evening.

According to Central Police Chief Roger Corcoran, officers responded to a crash shortly after 4 p.m. near Greenwell Springs Road and J L Fairchild Road.

After an investigation, officers discovered a black sedan was headed south “in a reckless manner” on Greenwell Springs Road, crossed the center line into the northbound lane, and collided head-on with a white SUV, according to Corcoran.
