Erin, TN : White Bluff man killed in Houston County crash on Highway 49 Monday night, November 3, 2014

A 23-year-old White Bluff man was killed in a head-on crash in Houston County Monday night. It happened moments before 6 p.m. on Highway 49 in Erin, approximately 70 miles northwest of Nashville. The Tennessee Highway Patrol said Heather Volb, 45, of Erin, was traveling westbound on Highway 49 when her Dodge Ram pickup truck crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Nissan Maxima driven by Timothy Breauchy. The impact sent the pickup truck onto the Maxima, tearing off the car's roof. Breauchy's car overturned at least once before coming to a rest of the right shoulder of the highway. The THP report indicated that Volb was drinking. Charges are pending. According to Facebook, Breauchy was a 2010 graduate of Creekwood High School. He leaves behind a fiance.
