CULLMAN, AL : Multi-vehicle crashes on I-65 N in Blount Co. closes road to traffic on Tuesday, 16th January 2024

Officials with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency say Interstate 65 northbound is closed to traffic after two crashes in Blount County.

The first multi-vehicle crash happened just before 7 p.m. Tuesday on I-65 near mile marker 288. The second happened not far down the interstate near mile marker 287 just before 8:45 p.m.

Authorities say the road will be closed for an undetermined amount of time.
