INDIANAPOLIS, IN : 1 person killed in crash on I-65 in south Indianapolis on Monday, 12th August 2024

A man was killed after running across Interstate 65 and getting hit by a car Monday morning on Indy's south side.

Just before 9 a.m. Aug. 12, Indiana State Police dispatchers started getting 911 calls about a serious crash involving a pedestrian on I-65, near the 107 mile marker.

When IFD and ISP arrived, they said they found a man unresponsive lying in the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
