CEDAR RAPIDS, IA : Fatal crash on I-35 afternoon on Sunday, 13th October 2024

A fatal crash occurred along I-35 in Worth County, IA this afternoon.

At around 1:45 PM, a driver in a 2017 Cadi CT6 was traveling along I-35 south near the 208 exit ramp in Worth County, when they lost control of their vehicle, broke through the cable guard into the median, and struck the bridge pillar.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
