Louisville, KY : Two people injured in Six-vehicle crash on I-64 on Tuesday, April 21, 2015

Two people were injured in an accident involving a semi and five passenger vehicles on Interstate 64.

MetroSafe said the crash happened westbound on I-64 at the 13 mile marker, near the Watterson Expressway/I-264, shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Louisville Metro police said one person from inside an overturned vehicle and another person who was in a vehicle that crashed into the side of the semi were taken to area hospitals for treatment. Police said their injuries appeared to be non-life threatening.

The LMPD Traffic Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
