Framingham, MA : 11 people injured in SUV crashes into group at auto auction on Friday October 9 2015

A man drove a sport utility vehicle that was being auctioned off inside an auto auction in Framingham into a group of people Friday, police said.The 78-year-old man was driving a BMW SUV when it accelerated, struck several vehicles and crashed into a crowd of people gathered at the ADESA Auction House on Western Avenue, police said.
I just looked behind me, and I saw people scrambling everywhere," witness Larry Proulx said. "You hear banging and crashing, and it hit multiple cars."
At least one person was seriously injured and was taken by medical helicopter to a local hospital.
All I heard was noises, and the next thing you know I felt something hit me in the back of the legs and I fell down," Proulx said.Proulx, from Connecticut, said he has no idea what hit him. He said when he looked back, the SUV was still moving and smashing everything in its path.People were running everywhere," he said. "I saw the car crash into a wall. I was just trying to run to get outside."
Ten others suffered less serious injuries and were taken to area hospitals.
The driver was not injured.
