A 33-year-old Clinton Township man was killed Friday afternoon when he crashed his motorcycle into the back of a car on Gratiot Avenue.
Police say Ryan Michael Williams was driving his 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 600 motorcycle in the left through lane of southbound Gratiot Avenue at 4:57 p.m. when he ran into the back of a 1997 Pontiac Transport. The Pontiac was driven by a 74-year-old woman from Mt. Clemens.
Investigation showed that the Pontiac pulled out of a parking lot on the west side of Gratiot Avenue, crossed over the southbound lanes and into the left curb lane, where the incident happened.
