Broomfield, CO : Broomfield crash seriously injures two on Sheridan Parkway near the Northwest Parkway on Monday, 9th December, 2019

Broomfield police confirmed Monday afternoon that one person died and another was seriously injured in a head-on crash earlier during the morning commute time.

The crash took place on Sheridan Parkway near the Northwest Parkway and sent the two female drivers to a local hospital about 7 a.m. Names, ages and cities of the deceased and injured parties have not been released, but the two vehicles involved were a 1998 GMC Safari van and a 2007 Honda Element. The GMC was heading northbound on Sheridan Parkway, and the Honda was going southbound.

The coronor of Adams and Broomfield counties will identify the deceased driver.

Sheridan was closed for several hours from the Northwest Parkway to Lowell Boulevard while Broomfield police investigated the crash.
