Estero, FL : Four Fort Myers teens injured in crash at Three Oaks and Estero parkways on Saturday, 18th January, 2020

Four Fort Myers teens were injured, one critically, in a crash shortly after 7 p.m. Saturday at Three Oaks and Estero parkways.

The Florida Highway Patrol said a 2012 Honda Civic driven by Herrera Mateo, 18, was southbound on Three Oaks in the left turn lane and tried making a left turn onto Estero.

Herrera disregarded a red traffic signal, troopers said. The front of a 2005 Chrysler minivan being driven north on Three Oaks by Cruz Milan Milenis, 44, of Fort Myers, hit the right side of Mateo's car.

The vehicles came to rest in the intersection.
