Police are looking for three suspects following a series of vehicle crashes in Greensboro Wednesday afternoon.
The incidents took place around 2:30 p.m. in the area of Holden Road, Patterson Street and Spring Garden Street. One person was slightly injured, Greensboro police said.
Police allege a man and two women were in an Acura stolen out of Durham when it hit a pickup truck near Holden Road and Patterson Street. The pickup truck driver tried to stop the Acura by deliberately hitting the car on Spring Garden Street, police said.
The Acura continued, hitting a second vehicle before crashing into a retaining wall, police said. The suspects then fled the scene on foot.
The pickup truck ended up hitting a utility pole and two homes, police said. Spring Garden Street was closed for about 45 minutes, and area cable service was disrupted.
The Acura has North Carolina license plate CHN-4223, police said. The suspects were last seen on Spring Garden Street and Scott Avenue, police said.
Police described the suspects as a black man wearing khaki trousers, a black woman wearing a tank top and a black woman wearing a pink shirt.
