Two people died in a head-on collision near the North Carolina and South Carolina state line.
According South Carolina Highway Patrol, a car and SUV collided at approximately 6:40 p.m. on Altura Road in Fort Mill Saturday.
Troopers said the SUV crossed the center line and hit the car head-on. Both drivers became trapped in their vehicles and died from their injuries.
The driver of the SUV was reportedly not wearing a seat belt.
