DICKSON COUNTY, TN : One man was killed in a crash on Friday, July 7, 2017
One man was killed in a crash Friday night in Dickson County.
It happened around 9:45 p.m. near the intersection of State Highway 49 and Twin Creek Road.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 35-year-old Michael Davis was driving a car westbound on State Highway 49, when for an unknown reason, the car went off the right side of the road and hit a tree. The car then traveled into a ditch, slammed into a phone box and a fence, before coming to a rest on its roof in a field.
Davis was pronounced dead.
THP said the White Bluff, Tennessee man was not wearing a seatbelt.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
