Columbus, OH : Fourth Ohio man dies from Florida weekend crash on Sunday September 18 2016
A fourth central Ohio man has died as a result of a crash in Florida over the weekend.
Joshua Martin, 33, of Columbus, died today at the Bay Medical Sacred Heart Hospital in Panama City, Florida, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Martin was a passenger in a minivan along with four others from Ohio when it crashed around midnight on Saturday in Panama City.
The men all were members of the Columbus-based, XTreme Associates softball team and were traveling for the World Sports League World Softball Championships in Florida. The event attracted 320 teams for two weekends of adult slow-pitch softball.
Craig Jackson, 31, of London, Ohio, was the driver of the Grand Caravan and remains in critical condition at the Bay Medical Sacred Heart Hospital.
Anthony Gouge, 30, of Columbus, and Eric Young, 25, of Chillicothe, died at the crash site. William Gouge II, 29, of Columbus, died on Sunday.
