Wichita, KS : Augusta woman killed after car flies off of overpass on Tuesday night, November 4, 2014

A 51-year-old Augusta woman was killed Tuesday night in a one-vehicle crash in Sedgwick County, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. The fatality victim was identified as Debra A. Shriver. According to the patrol, Shriver was driving a 2010 Ford Focus east on K-254 highway just west of Oliver Road around 8:05 p.m. Tuesday when the car left the roadway and entered the center median. The car then vaulted off the overpass and onto Oliver, striking a concrete wall head-on. Shriver, who was alone in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.
