Pratt County, KS : Driver in Pratt County crash dies from injuries on U.S 54 in Pratt County on Wednesday, 19th September 2018

An Isabel man critically injured Wednesday when he ran a stop sign on U.S 54 in Pratt County has died.

The Kansas Highway Patrol updated its report on the crash overnight, noting Darrel L. Brant, 74, died at Pratt Health Center late Wednesday afternoon.

Brant was northbound on 100th Avenue, also known as Cairo Road, when he failed to yield at the highway and drove into the driver’s side door of a 2015 Ford Pickup towing a camper that was westbound on U.S. 54. The driver of the Ford, Dan Charles Hoeper, 72, and a passenger in his truck, Katherine Jo Hoeper, 69, both of Livingston, Texas, were not injured.
