LAKE VILLAGE, IN : Momence man dies in Indiana crash on Wednesday, October 4, 2017

David A. Giles, 48, of Momence, was killed when his vehicle crashed into a field north of Indiana Route 10 near Newton County Road 1050N Road on Sept. 29.

According to the Newton County Sheriff's Department, Giles' 2006 Ford Crown Victoria was discovered in the field at 6:50 a.m.

A preliminary investigation found the vehicle left the north side of Indiana 10 for unknown reasons causing the vehicle to go airborne. The driver was partially ejected.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
