KEYSTONE HEIGHTS, FL : Driver killed in fiery Clay County crash on Sunday, January 1st 2017

The Florida Highway Patrol says Patrick J. McGee, 40, of Keystone Heights, was killed after he failed to properly negotiate a curve on County Road 214.
Police say the Ford Eco Line being driven by McGee traveled on the grassy shoulder and hit a tree. After hitting the tree, the van caught fire.
Several good Samaritans passed by the scene and helped pull the driver from the van.
Police say alcohol test are pending.
