A hit-and-run accident on Route 114 in North Andover left a motorist dead early Thursday morning, WCVB reports.
The crash happened right on the North Andover/Lawrence line just after midnight at the intersection of Waverly Road and Turnpike Street. According to Lawrence police, the 64-year-old motorcyclist from Methuen was traveling eastbound on Route 114 into North Andover when he struck two pedestrians and was then run over by a black Mercedes.
The motorcyclist was killed and one of the pedestrians was taken to a Boston hospital with serious injuries, police said. The second pedestrianwas taken to Lawrence General Hospital.
Police are looking for the driver of the black Mercedes in connection with the crash.
