Port Sulphur, LA : Three people dead after car slams into tree on Thursday November 26 2015

Three people were killed when the vehicle in which they were traveling left the road, went through a ditch and slammed into a tree before bursting into flames early Thanksgiving morning in Port Sulphur.
The incident occurred around 2 a.m. on Parish Road 11.
According to State Police, a 2012 Jaguar XF was traveling north on Parish Road 11, but as the vehicle went into a left curve, the driver lost control and the car went off the road to the right. It then traveled through a ditch, struck and tree and became fully-engulfed in flames.
Police said none of the occupants of the car was able to get out and all were pronounced dead on the scene.
The identities of the deceased will be determined through autopsies. State Police believe speed was a factor in the crash.
