Deputies were called to an area near the Interstate 690 overpass for a report of a motorcycle crash. An Oswego County couple had lost control of their bike, according to the sheriff's office.

A Ford F150 pickup truck reportedly pulled out of a driveway in front of the pair, causing the motorcycle driver to stop quickly. The driver then lost control and crashed, deputies said.
The two were thrown from the bike and were seriously injured. They were taken to Upstate University Hospital, where the male driver is being treated for a hip injury and the woman passenger is being treated for a head injury, according to the office.
