Richmond, VA : A Henrico County man was killed in a crash on Tuesday, July 4, 2017

A Henrico County man was killed in a crash early Tuesday at the intersection of West Broad Street and John Rolfe Parkway.

Henrico police said Darrus T. Baker, 48, died after the Infiniti G35 sedan he was driving struck and overturned a GMC Yukon SUV that was making a left turn from John Rolfe Parkway onto West Broad at about 12:05 a.m.

Two passengers of the Infiniti were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injures.

The driver of the SUV did not need to go to the hospital.

Police said the investigation determined the Infiniti did not have the right of way, and alcohol is considered a factor in the crash. Police also said Baker was not wearing a seat belt.
