BRIDGEPORT, CT : Some injured in five-car accident on Sunday, 23rd February, 2020

Multiple injuries have been reported, but none of them are life-threatening, police say after a five-car accident on Barnum Avenue.
The accident was first reported around 8:00 on Sunday evening. Scott Appleby, Bridgeport's Director of Emergency Management & Homeland Security, said one of the responsible parties fled the vehicle on foot before police got there.
Appleby said the intersection of Barnum Avenue and Elizabeth Street are closed. He said police, fire and medical services were still on the scene.
