STILLWELL, OK : 1 person dead after Adair County crash on Thursday, 27th June 2024

One person is dead after a crash on County Road just north of Stilwell in Adair County on Thursday afternoon, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP).

There were no other passengers in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

The driver was pronounced dead at Stillwell Memorial Hospital by hospital staff.

According to OHP, the vehicle was driving at an unsafe speed when it attempted a left curve and left the roadway, causing a collision with a culvert. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt.
