LABELLE, MO : Bethel woman arrested in crash that killed Newark man on Saturday, 10th October, 2020
A Bethel woman was arrested on a felony driving while under intoxicated charge after a crash Friday that killed a Newark man.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Glenn L. Randall, 52, of Newark, was heading south at 6 p.m. on Route D, 8 miles south of LaBelle, when a northbound 2016 Ford F-150 driven by Tresa M. Castle, 56, of Bethel, crossed the center line and struck the motorcycle.
Randall was pronounced dead at the scene by Lewis County Coroner Larry Arnold.
Castle who was uninjured was arrested and taken to the Lewis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.
Assisting at the scene were the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department and the LaBelle Fire Department.
