Hot Springs, AR : 30-year-old man died following a collision involving two motorcycles on Interstate 30 in Hot Springs County on Sunday, Sep 6, 2015

The Arkansas State Police reports that a 30-year-old Hot Springs man has died following a collision involving two motorcycles on Interstate 30.

State Police say the collision occurred at 2 a.m. Sunday in Hot Springs County. A preliminary fatal crash report says the motorcycles collided, slid several feet and then caught fire. Troopers say the bikers were traveling in a group when the two bikes collided.

Authorities say Ranthony L. Ward was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers say a motorcyclist he was following, 23-year-old Justin R. Lofton of Hot Springs, was transported to a Hot Springs hospital for treatment.
