Authorities have released the names of the two men who were killed in a three-vehicle crash at a western New York intersection last week.
The Ontario County Sheriff's Office says 60-year-old Jeffery Vandermaille of Macedon and 55-year-old Alan Hallings of Fairport were killed Friday afternoon when the pickup truck they were in burst into flames after being hit by an SUV that ran a stop sign in the town of Farmington.
Deputies say the SUV was driven by a 38-year-old man who had four children ages 10 to 12 in his vehicle. All five were taken to a hospital. The man and three of the children were treated and released while the fourth child was hospitalized.
The driver of the third vehicle was treated at the scene.
The investigation is continuing.
