Bridgeport, CT : Lanes reopen after I-95 accident on Friday, November 11, 2016
A southbound accident involving a tractor-trailer and a on I-95 in Fairfield has taken out two lanes and the shoulder in Fairfield.
The accident, reported at 7:14 a.m., is at Exit 24 in Fairfield.
Camera images show the truck stopped in the right lane, with part of its trailer in the center lane.
The Fairfield Fire Department, State Police and an ambulance are at the scene.
Traffic is getting by in the left lane, then quickly moving into the center lane.
Slowest traffic is near Exit 26 in Bridgeport.
There are delays of 1.6 miles, according to the state Department of Transportation.
The Fairfield accident is the only accident reported on state highways, according to the DOT.
Traffic is much lighter today because of the Veterans Day holiday.
