Jackson, MS : 3-year-old hit by car on Washington Avenue Friday, October 21, 2016

A toddler has been hit by a car in the 1500 block of Washington Avenue.

JPD Commander Tyree Jones says the 3-year-old was taken to UMMC with minor injuries. The driver is being questioned, but at this time no charges have been filed.

Witnesses tell our crew the child was hit by the car and appeared to have a gash on the back of the head.
