Columbus, OH : A 37-year-old woman was killed in a car accident on Saturday, July 1, 2017

The Pickaway County Sheriff is investigating after a 37-year-old woman was killed in a car accident.

It happened Saturday on London Road between Renick Road and Ridgeway Road in Darby Township.

The Sheriff's Office said Alesha McKenzie from Orient, Ohio, was driving southbound on London Road when her car went off the left side of the road, flew into the air and hit a culvert before rolling and hitting a tree and a utility pole.

The Sheriff's Office said McKenzie was pronounced dead at the scene, and the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
