Franklin, TN : Man dies after falling from overpass onto I-65 in Franklin on Sunday, Oct 25, 2015

A man was struck and killed on Interstate 65 in Franklin after falling from an overpass on Sunday.

Emergency crews responded to the McEwen overpass around 8:30 p.m.

The 41-year-old male victim, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the man fell from the overpass into the southbound lanes and was hit by at least one car.

According to police, they are investigating the incident as a possible suicide, but the official manner and cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner's office.
