A State College man was taken to the hospital Sunday after allegedly crashing into a parked vehicle in the borough.
According to police, Stephen Sloane, 56, was driving along Bayberry Drive near Ferguson Township at about 8:15 p.m. when he allegedly struck a parked vehicle. A witness claimed to have seen Sloane driving erratically.
A preliminary breath test showed Sloane had a blood alcohol content of 0.173 percent, police said. He sustained lacerations on his face and was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene, police said.
