Milwaukee County, WI : One person injured in two vehicles crash on Tuesday December 10 2015
People in the area of a traffic crash involving a truck carrying propane on the city's north side have been allowed to return to the area after being evacuated as a precaution Tuesday, according to the fire department.
The incident involved two vehicles, one of which was a truck with a 100-gallon tank, and took place in the intersection of N. 5th St. and W. North Ave. about 8:20 a.m., officials said.
It's not known if the tank was full, said Milwaukee Fire Department Deputy Chief Aaron Lipski. The immediate area was evacuated, including two buildings, and a hazardous materials crew was on scene.
One person was hurt during the incident but is expected to survive, according to the Milwaukee Police Department.
