Lakecity , FL : Roger Tennant suffers serious injuries in crash after Crashing into a school bus On Wednesday afternoon , February 11th 2015

A man is recovering in the hospital after crashing into a school bus Wednesday afternoon in Lake City.

Roger Tennant, 55, was airlifted to Shands in Gainesville with serious injuries, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Tennant was driving a Kia Rondo north on County Line Road. A school bus was stopped with its warning signals on and was preparing to unload children.

Tennant failed to stop and ran into the back of the school bus, troopers said.

No school bus passengers were injured.
