Alexander,IL: One man dead after vehicle crash on south 8th Street on October, Thursday 12th 2017

One man is dead after his westbound vehicle crossed an eastbound lane into a deep ditch on the south side of Eighth Avenue near Havana Street, according to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash, which occurred around 8:45 a.m., is under investigation.

The Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the name of the man, the sole occupant of his vehicle, after conducting an autopsy.

Investigators do not know what occurred prior to this crash or what caused the driver to leave the roadway, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
