Ardmore, OK : Three injured in Wilson crash on Wednesday, July 26, 2017
A car crash Wednesday evening in Wilson left three people injured.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol received a call regarding an accident at 6:36 p.m. at the intersection of Santa Fe Road and Ridge Road.
Jimmy P. Hutchins, 79, of Wilson, was driving a 2014 Chevrolet pickup truck northbound on Santa Fe Road with Craig S. Hutchins, 36 of Springer, as a passenger. Troopers allege that Hutchins failed to yield to the 2017 Hyundai Sonata that was driven by Waylan D. Johnson, 38, of Ringling, and caused the crash.
Britany M. Johnson, 37, also of Ringling, was a passenger in Johnson’s car.
Both of the Hutchins were transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Healdton where they were treated and released.
Waylan suffered no injuries. Britany was transported by helicopter to Medical City Denton in Denton, Texas with head, leg and internal torso injuries. She was admitted in fair condition.
