One person is dead after a car accident in Northwest Charlotte Saturday evening.
The accident happened around 10 p.m. on Freedom Drive, just off Bradford Drive.
Medic and the Charlotte Fire Department confirmed the fatal accident on Twitter.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have not yet identified the victim, and have not released how many cars were involved.
The inbound lane of Freedom Drive remains closed to traffic.
