Canton ,MI : Motorcyclist injured in Canton crash on Friday morning ,July 31st 2015

Canton Police say a 25-year-old motorcyclist struck an SUV on Michigan Avenue Friday morning.

The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported to St. Joseph’s in Ypsilanti. He was listed in critical condition. The driver of the vehicle was not injured and was released at the scene.

According to witnesses, speed may have been a factor on the part of the motorcyclist.

The crash remains under investigation.
